    Hello!

We are using this plugin to allow customers to pay a fee to require their shipping carrier to obtain a signature on delivery of the package.

The fee applies to each product in the cart as each product ships seperately.

We have enabled the settings as such, but the plugin is showing the fe per product, and then again for the whole cart, and no matter what we try to change in the settings, it still shows the extra fee at the top of the list f products as you can see in the below screenshot.

How do we remove the one with the blue arrow from the cart?

    Hi, @joyryde,

I think I was able to fix it. Could you please update the plugin to the latest v1.8.0 and let me know if it’s working ok now?

    MAJOR issue guys:

The plugin is now causing 500 Server errors for all WordPress API connections and webhooks.

It started happening in the last 24 hours and our hosting company found that it is this plugin.

Our order shipment tracking software failed 184 times in the last 24 hours so no customers are getting their tracking numbers.

Jetpack doesn’t work, nothing works that uses the API. Every plugin is reporting 500 server errors.

The hosting company had us disable your plugin and it fixed every issue immediately.

    Hi, @joyryde,

I’m sorry to hear that there are troubles with the plugin.

Could you please let me know if there are any “fatal errors” in “WooCommerce > Status > Logs”?

    Thread Starter joyryde

    (@joyryde)

When searching the logs, nothing comes up for any of the words custom, checkout, or fields.

    (@algoritmika)

    Hi, @joyryde,

The error could come from another plugin, i.e., it could be a compatibility issue, so searching for related words may be not enough. We need to check if there are any fatal-errors-... logs.

Also, could you please check if “WordPress debug mode” is enabled in “WooCommerce > Status > System status”? If it’s not, could you please enable it, then enable our plugin, and then check if there are any error messages?

    Hello!

Today we attempted to re-enable your plugin and immediately got this error:

“Jetpack encountered an error and was unable to display the Dashboard. Please try refreshing the page.”

As soon as we disabled your plugin, Jetpack worked perfectly again.

    Hi, @joyryde,

I’ve just tested it with the Jetpack – unfortunately, I’m still not able to reproduce the issue – both plugins seem to be working fine here. Could you please check if there are any error messages in the WordPress log (usually wp-content/debug.log)?

    (@joyryde)

    Hi!

We deleted all logs before testing, and don’t see any error logs except for one called test-log.log now that we’ve cleared them, but the issue remains.

    Hi, @joyryde,

I’m sorry I’m not too helpful so far, but could you please make sure that you’ve enabled the WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG modes, and then checked the wp-content/debug.log file?

    Hi,

We enabled logging and all we see are these entries:

    Hi, @joyryde,

Thanks for the info, but unfortunately, I’m still unable to figure out what’s going on.

We’ve just released a new plugin version (v1.8.1) with a few improvements, however, to be honest, I doubt it will help.

If the new version won’t help – could you please send me the report from “WooCommerce > Status > System status > Get system report” – so I could try to replicate it on my local server?

    Hi,

We uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and the issue resolved itself.

We do have another question though, we are trying to enable the field in bulk on thousands of specific products by using the Woocommerce CSV import/export feature, but we can’t locate the column even though the plugin seems to indicate that there is one? It says:

    Meta key: _shipping_alg_wc_checkout_field_1.
