    Hi,

Your support on here is great and answers so many questions – thank you for your fabulous work.

    I am confused –

    1. If I use the plugin custom css – do I still need to use a child theme?
When the theme, in this case Zerif lite, is updated – will the custom css still be the same and will it still be there?

    2. If I use a child theme – should I continue using the custom css or should I use only the (child) style.css and do I not need the the custom.css then?

    3. After creating a child theme, some things were lost – my only link dropping down (?) from the main menu doesn’t show.

    Hello,

    1. First of all, the custom css plugin gives you the possibility to only edit css, when child theme gives you access to more files than that. And when your theme gets updated, you will not use the changes in your custom css plugin, nor your child theme.
    2. It depends on what changes you what to make to your website. If it’s css only, you can continue with the plugin, if it’s more than that, you can use the child theme.
    3. I don’t seem to know what happened so that you lost your dropping down menu. Anyway, i advise you use the child themes created by us for Zerif, and edit on them. One of them is Zerius.

Thank you for you kind words. Also, if you like our theme and work, you can leave a review here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/view/theme-reviews/zerif-lite#postform

@alexandrastan001 the problem with your Zerius theme is that it prompts for the updates and if someone made some changes then the changes will be lost.

@alexandrastan001 Thanks! The dropdown menu is sorted, too. And I will leave a review –
