Custom CSS for Elementor Section

  • This is my first time using your plugin and so far it has been a great help. I have a few different CSS changes I want to make and after several unsuccessful attempts on my own I thought I turn here.

    I am using elementor and most of my changes revolve around background-color on sections. For example, the footer changes to the same color as the background even though it is not the background color. How can I change the footer background color to #000000?

    In all of my attempts, I tried entering the CSS in the Elementor custom CSS panel, the customizer custom CSS panel, and in the custom CSS panel on the pro plugin.

    Can you give me some guidance on what I am doing wrong?
