    Hi

I would like to access to the “Custom CSS” text area on the “Plugin Options” screen of TablePress, but I don’t see any “Custom CSS” text area. I see only “Admin menu entry”.

Could it be a user rights issue? Is it necessary to have administrator rights to see “Custom CSS” option?

    Thank You

    Hi!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

This is indeed a user access rights issue: For security reasons (CSS code is very powerful and could be used to heavily change a site’s styling), only Administrators see the “Custom CSS” field.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

Thank you for your quick response and your precious support.

Unfortunately my wordpress site is managed by a ministerial structure. The plugin was installed centrally and it is not possible to have the role of administrator.

So you’re telling me that there’s no way to access the “Custom CSS” section?

    Thank You

    Hi,

well, there is: Your site’s administrator would have to assign your user or your user role the tablepress_edit_options access capability, e.g. with a plugin like Members or User Role Editor.

Alternatively, you could ask your administrator to add the necessary CSS code changes, or they could install another plugin that allows editing or adding of CSS code to a site.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
