    Have you tried the plugin? You should find it isn’t broken, but that people just haven’t contributed to is “compatible up to” feedback.

    The theme also provides an option to provide custom CSS, or you can use a Child Theme for your custom CSS.

    These are enough choices for you to make the appropriate CSS modifications. You can search the plugins directory yourself for alternative plugins.
