Custom Date Format

    Hello,

    Great plugin! I like that all of your plugins are lightweight. The prefix “Simple” is quite appropriate. Some time ago another user inquired about setting the date format to German. My first observation when viewing this plugin is that users are limited to the four formats available. Might I suggest you enable an option to use the date format set on the WordPress settings page? Since WordPress allows users to specify a custom format, this could provide the solution without the need to understand how to manually edit the code in your plugin file, which is not a good idea since the changes will revert when the plugin updates. I think you could probably do the same for time format. Just name the options “WordPress Default”.

    We would be glad to tell you that the custom date format option is being provided by default in Simple Event Planner v 1.5.4, as you can find in the attached image. Here you can define the date format which suits you the best.
