Custom default image title option to Nextgen gallery

  • Hi there,

    Is there any solution to make a custom character as the default image title to Nextgen galleries?
    (Instead of filename…)

    I know it is possible to change every title through gallery settings, but there is no option to make a custom text or character as default for every image in the gallery or the whole album. (e.g. “+”)

    If you leave the image title field empty the gallery shows the filename.
    Can someone tell me how can i modify it to call a custom value instead of it, please?

    It would be great to have an option for that at gallery settings as we already have for display image title or description. (masonry) ??

    @gege_hun – Currently the best method for implementing custom code / extensions with NextGEN Gallery is to back trace the code, we do not have specific documentation for the hooks aside from what you can currently find with the link I provided.
