    re the email notice on manually updating the custom email plug in

    “your settings won’t be lost forever”

    given the step by step process, it appears that the old plug in is completely deleted so can i please check that all of my existing email wordings, custom fields i have inserted into emails etc will be retained and reappear when i install the new version?

    That’s correct, the plugin files will be deleted but the settings are stored in the database. They’ll remain there and the plugin will automatically recognize them when it is re-installed and activated.
