Custom exchange rate

  • I want to know if it is possible to have a custom value for the exchange rate.
    For example I pay USD to buy my products but when I’m selling them the prices will be displayed in EURO. So when the USD goes down, my EURO prices must go down too. Changing the prices manually takes a lot of time so I was wondering if there is an option to do this automatically.

  • You could use this https://www.woothemes.com/products/product-csv-import-suite/ to export your products to a CSV file, open in Excel, use a formula to update all the prices and then merge them back in.

    Technically you could be done in around 5 mins depending on how the prices need to change

    From a business point of view if you import your goods at one price you should probably keep them there until you have run out of stock UNLESS their is competitive pressure to lower the price
    Look up FIFO and LIFO inventory accounting on the web.
