Hello! I am totally new to SEO stuff and am researching SEO plugins. I’ve heard great things about SEO Framework. One of the things I like about at least one other plugin is that I can easily customize the image and the associated text when someone shares a post on social media. It looks like I can choose a social media image with SEO Framework.

    1. Will that custom image be shown on Facebook alone, or will it be used for any social media shares (eg. Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)?

I see that I am able to set a custom title and description in the General tab. Are the title and description given here used in social media shares, too, or only for other purposes?

    Thank you for your time!
    Dan

    Hi @frudoc,

I’m glad you like TSF ??

When an image is supplied, it will be used for all social websites. The size determined is generally well suited for any platform.

The same goes for the Title and Description, but there’s one exception:
If no manual description is supplied the description prefix (“title on blogname”) will be omitted and the length will be trimmed at 200 characters, instead of 155.

More options are planned for ETA 3.1.0, as either an extension or right into TSF. The discussion can be found here, and I’d love to hear opinions or suggestions there:

    Cheers! ??
