Thanks for your question and for including the screen shots; very helpful.

Your mapping rule looks fine, but I have found that editing tools display the location and values of IPTC, EXIF and XMP fields in different and sometimes misleading ways. You might get more information by viewing the “XMP” tab in the xnview tool.

You wrote “when I go in the media editing window, I see nowhere my custom field.” Which editing window are you referring to? The best place to go is the full-screen Media/Edit Media submenu. You can get there by navigateng to the Media/Assistant screen and clicking on the image thumbnail or the “Edit” rollover action in the first column. Then, pull down the “Screen Options” menu in the upper right corner and make sure the “Custom Fields” box is checked; it is off by default. Once it is turned on the custom fields will be displayed beneath the “Description” text area.

If you can post a link to one or more of your images I can investigate further with the tools I have and give you more specific help. I will leave this topic unresolved for now. Any additional information or sample images you can provide will be helpful. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.

    Hi David,

Once again, thanks a lot for your quick answer, i really appreciate that, it’s a real pleasure using your plugin knowing you are there to provide such an effecient support.

The solution was very simple : custom fields display was indeed turned off and I must say that it was well hidden in the sreen options : I searched before posting here but I completely missed it, my bad !

And my custom date is there, so the mapping rule is working perfectly :

I now have other questions about how to use this information, but I will open new topics.

You can mark this one as solved ! ??
