Custom Field not rendering in Page Snippet

I have read the instructions and read through support but I can’t seem to find a resolution.

I need to setup my Page title template with a custom field so I can customize all my page titles. So I added this to the SEO Post Types tab:
%%cf_seotitle%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%

In my page I created a custom field called seotitle and gave it a value. When I saved and refreshed only the separator and sitename appear. No custom field value. So thinking I did it wrong I went back and changed the custom field name to cf_seotitle, saved it, saved the page, refreshed. No custom field is rendering.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
