Custom Fields doesnt work

hi,

I installed Subscribe To Comments Reloaded and created a “real” page for it. I used the page.php and added the code at the beginning.
So far all works – except for the custom fields.

I didnt want to have my share buttons on that page so I wanted to use the custom field “really_simple_share_disable” with the value “yes”.

But the new template and page doesnt work with that shortcode. why?
maybe there is a way to implement a custom field in the template code?
