• Hi,
So we are experiencing a problem with custom fields being recognized and connecting with the Gravity Forms Constant Contact plugin.

If you look at this listed page and the form on the page, you’ll see a dropdown field named “How did you learn about NewbornCourse?”
we’ve tried renaming that field in Constant Contact and in Gravity forms but no matter what we try that information on the form is passed and created in a field labeled “custom Field 1” in Constant Contact.
Instead of this plugin scanning the custom fields that were created in constant contact, it seems the plugin is simply just labeling the fields itself and just passing the data to CC in a new field.
Is there anyway to change the naming of the custom fields 1-10 to be the same as the name of the field in Constant Contact and in the Gravity Form?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I am also having this problem. Have custom fields set up in Constant Contact, but they are not showing in the Constant Contact feeds – custom field names from Constant Contact are not recognized and it creates a new one custom Field 1 when submitting the form

are there any resolution to this problem yet?

i have contacted ConstantContact support and they are saying they launched v3 API that should fix this problem.

this plugin is using their v2 API which is causing the problem with custom fields.

please, whoever is the support admin, look into this. need this fixed badly.

    very much appreciated.

    thank you!

I chatted with Constant Contact about this and they too admitted it was a problem with their API.

You’d think a company who relies so heavily on email and forms for its business would think about the use of custom fields, but apparently not…

I’ll be testing the new API later today and tomorrow and I’ll let you all know if it fixes the situation.

I just finished testing the New API and it didn’t fix the issue.
