Custom fields have disappeared after updates

  • Hi everyone,

    Just updated to WP 4.1 as well as ACF 4.3.9.

    As a result, the images along with some content that was appearing in the right hand side bar has disappeared.

    I went into the ‘Custom Fields’ menu and in the created custom field page was the error message: “Error field type does not exist”.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’m very much a beginner and need to get my boss’ website functioning properly again.

  • Do you have a link? How did you previously create the custom post types? Have you tried deactivating all plugins via FTP?
