Custom Fields No Longer Show Up When Creating A Post
-
Hello,
My website is https://www.goldenvalleymn.gov.
We set up a blog in wordpress, and it is filtering onto our homepage of our website (news section on the right).
When I recently updated WordPress to version 3.5.1, the ability to see and use the Advanced Custom Fields in the post editor is gone. I used to be able to see it in the editing screen and be able to click it to ensure that a certain field shows up.
Here are examples:
When we used to be able to see custom fields in the editing post section, we would get posts like this, with the included left sidebar contact box: https://www.goldenvalleymn.gov/newsarchive/index.php/2013/03/22/local-youth-honored-for-outstanding-community-service-2/Now, after the update to 3.5.1, we can no longer see or find the custom fields box that used to be there, and now posts show up without the contact box because we can no longer ‘add’ the custom field: https://www.goldenvalleymn.gov/newsarchive/index.php/2013/04/10/run-the-valley-is-this-saturday-rain-or-shine-or-snow/
I’ve seen that other people are having the same issue with the fields not showing up, and I am hoping there is a way to solve this problem. I have seen others finding a resolution in de-upgrading to the version before this, 3.5, and finding that the fields show up again, but I couldn’t get my wordpress to go back to that verison.
Please help! I hope there is a way to fix this.
Thanks!https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/advanced-custom-fields/
