Custom fields supported? Restrict access?

    Hello!

    I have Two questions:

    – Are Custom fields (From advanced custom fields plugin) also displayed in the frontend form and can be filled out and be saved?

    – Is it possible to restrict the access of users to post only in a specific category or post type?

    (I have some PHP skills if needed)

    1 custom fields: Can be done but require that you use Fontier Post template forms, and write an action to save the custom field values: https://wpfrontier.com/frontier-post-custom-fields/
    To be honest, not well tested and documented yet.

    2 Restrict to category: yes per user role, post types: same setting for all users.

    Setting for Allowed categories can be found under Frontier Post Capabilities.
