custom fiels for pages and categories

Hi all,

i meet a problem on my tielabs theme, so that theme has options to make all the custom fields and to add others , but the problem when i choose a custom field and i fil its value, and update both the custom field with its value and the page ( for which i want to add categories throught that custom field). so after that when i come back to those parameters i don’t see my last changement on custom field as i get any changement on my page.

sorry to be so descriptif, the main idea how to add categories to pages, without access to plugin, and only with use of the theme options.

NB: i have tielabs theme trial version
