    Hi,

    Nice plugin.

I’m unable to save custom filename. Whenever I type in a name & click save, the page reloads and the section for custom filename remains empty.

Also, I can’t open exported files, it comes out like this: https://ibb.co/bHYdSDw

    Any help?

    Thanks.

    Hi @snobs ,

What filename are you trying? There are some restrictions. You don’t need to append an extension, and spaces are not allowed.

As for the download issue. This seems to be linked to your theme. There probably is a space that it being output before the php starts.

Please try a default theme and see if that fixes it. If so, that means the problem is with your theme.

Try to locate a space in your functions.php before the <?php tag. Or after a closing ?> tag. These should be removed.

    Hope this helps.

    Superfast response @doekenorg, thanks.

I’ve had no luck so far.

I created a custom name using the word “test”, it refused to save. Tried a couple of other words, and it’s the same.

Any idea what could cause this?

I’ve also just had a look at my function.php, and there are no spaces before <?php or after ?>

I might not be able to switch to the default theme now cos the site is live and it receives a lot of traffic. I’ll be able to try the switch much later at night when traffic is less.

@snobs apparently, I broke this myself. ?? The filename is stored, but the field doesn’t show any value. So, if it can download; it will be the name you provided. I’ll release a patch to fix the field shortly.

Could you perhaps send me the actual download link (via [email protected]). That way I can at least checkout the headers, and the content; to see why it is broken.

Just released 1.7.2. That should return the filename to you at least ??

Thanks @doekenorg, the update fixed the issue with the file name.

Sending the download link to your email.
