Custom Font not saving

    Has anyone else problems saving Custom Font Urls? I can add a font saved in the sites uploads folder /uploads/subfolder/font-name.ttf. There is no error, that the url is invalid.

    The font then shows up underneath the upload field. But it does not save. Even when I change other parameters and the dialouge says “settings saved”. On reload of the page, the custom font is gone and obviously not available for the stories.

    Maybe I forgot some well hidden setting, but right now I am in dire need of some idea.

    Hiya @hunters-best ! Sorry to hear you are having issues with the custom font setting. We’ll be happy to investigate this further but could you please share a few additional details?

    1. If possible, could you check for any browser console errors in the browser dev tools and send us a screenshot, using a screenshot sharing service such as Jumpshare or Imgur?

    2. Could you please share a screen recording of your experience using a service such as Loom or Recordit then share the URL here?

    3. Could you provide your Site Health information? You can share privately if you prefer.

    Not updated plugins are not activated in this development site.

    Hi @hunters-best , we are investigating this issue with the details you provided. Could you perhaps try disabling all other plugins and switching to a default theme to see if you get the same issue when Web Stories is enabled alone? The safest way to simulate this is by using the troubleshooting mode.

    I just deactivated all plugins (again) and after updating Web Stories to the latest Version all fonts are showing up now. Even after activating ALL plugins again. What ever was in you latest update – it fixed everything. Thank you VERY much!
