• Hello,

    Two questions:

    1) Is it possible to customize the theme footer, by adding columns, widgets etc? There is no such option in the theme customizer.

    2) on the website I am developing, I am using a child theme of Maskitto Light, and in my style.css file I set it to use the same text-domain as the parent theme (maskitto-light). Loco Translate plugin identifies correctly that the child theme uses the same .pot file, and the .po and .mo files are saved correctly, but the translation doesn’t work. I put the .po/.mo files in all possible directories (/maskitto-light-child/languages, /maskitto-light/languages, /wp-content/themes/languages), but nothing seems to work.

    Hello,

Thank you for using Maskitto theme.

    1. Sorry, but this functionality is not available in Maskitto Light theme. However you can try our premium products for this kind of functionally.

    2. This should work out of the box. Do you use some plugin for multiple languages?

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound

I am using the Loco Translate plugin.

If I stop using this plugin, and get Poedit to make my own .po and .mo files, where should I put them?

    a) in /languages/themes?
    b) in /content/themes/maskitto-light/languages? (this is my parent theme)
    c) in /content/themes/masiktto-light-child/languages? (this is my -active- child theme).

    Thanx in advance!

    Hello,

You should put it inside: /content/themes/maskitto-light/languages.
    It works for us.
