    Hi,

    We are using the Give main plugin and added custom fields to donors but we are now looking forward “Form Field Manager” to see if it could help us solving the multiples issues we started experiencing.

    So here’s some questions about Form Field Manager :

    A) do “Form Field Manager” custom fields apply, at will, to donor, or to
    transaction?
    A’) if they can apply to donor, how are they stored in the DB (serialized or not?)

    B) are FFM’s custom fields editable in the back-office?

    C) are FFM’s custom fields exported?

    D) are FFM’s custom fields working out-of-the-box with some (or all) of
    the available payments gateways? (if yes, which ones?)

    HI there,

    A) They are applied to the Transaction as post_meta. The data is serialized but accessible via a standard query.

    B) Yes, custom data also appears directly in the Transaction Details screen in your Give Admin.

    C) Not at this time, but we plan to implement that in the new year.

    D) Yes, with all. But it does not send that data to the gateway directly. Custom data is only stored in your Transactions with Give.
