Custom form markup getting lost when the mamp installation is migrated to vvv

    I ran into an odd issue. I am running the latest wordpress version as well as none pro version of the mailchimp plugin. i have a proper running version of wordpress under mamp locally. when i create a db dump and copy the wordpress folder and migrate everything to vvv something odd happens. in the front end the mailchimp form part looks broken. when i get into the backend my form markup got replaced by some default markup. i have to readd the previous one. odd. cuz when i migrated the local dev site to the live site that hasn’t happened. only reproducibly in case i migrate to vvv? is mailchimp for wp storing the form markup in the db? If i replace the default markup with my old one then even the layout is a little bit broken. That case i am still investigating. unable to find the reason yet. Anyone else experienced something similar? Thanks r.

    Hey rkoller,

    While I have not tested it on VVV, when I deploy from my local free MAMP server to remote site, the settings work well. We do save all the data in the database.

    I’ll discuss this with my colleagues to see if anyone else can reproduce the issue.

    Yep deploy from the local MAMP server to a remote site i haven’t any issues at all so far. Just turned up as described when i started playing around with vvv a few days ago.

    Hi rkoller,

    It feels like when you deploy from VVM, the serialized options might not be sent properly. I would recommend using plugins like “WP DB Migrate” as this issue is not related to our plugin specifically.
