Hello There,
I love the Twenty Ten Theme. It’s the best, user-friendly theme I have ever tried! I am currently making a new blog and I have a couple of small problems just for the front (home) page.
1. how can i remove the page title “home”? I went to the page.php file and tried deleting some codes but nothing seems to work. I tried changing the css to white but then my blog entry titles will be white. :/ so if someone can help me out on removing the ‘home’ title, that be so awesome!
2. is there a coding to just change the ‘home’ page’s width? I want to put a slideshow of pictures in the front page. The photos sizes are 940px wide.
3. I know the slideshow has javascript and I tried adding the javascript code in header.php but nothing seems to happen. Is there a slideshow plugin you recommend that is NOT flash? The example slideshow is on https://www.cakedla.com
As you can tell, I want to rebuild the entire website to integrate with wp and by using twenty ten. I’m just having trouble customizing the front page. ?? I’ve been researching for a couple days now and nothing…
