Custom frontend form

Hi,
I have created a custom post type using pods and users can publish their own posts using the frontend form (created with shortcode) which has the following fields:
– post title
– website field
– file upload for image
– dropdown for custom taxonomy created by pods

I want the dropdown for the custom taxonomies to display a text that I specify, not the same as stored in the backend.
A good solution would be to display the ‘description’ field instead of the ‘name’ field.

How can I do it?
