    Dear Modula,

When I open ma gallery (custom grid / manual) on my computer, it displays perfectly as intended. But on my tablet, same browser (firefox), the order of the pictures is different and does not convey the order I intended. It is a huge problem for me.

Is there a way to have everything work on any screen?

    Thanks,
    Etienne

  • Hello @eeblanc,

Thank you for letting us know about this.
Please rest assured we will help but I am going to need a bit more information about this.
First can you please let me know what tablet are you using? Can you please clear your cache and send me a screenshot so I can take a look? Maybe I missed something.

Just tested this and it looks the same on my end. Looking forward to your reply. Thank you!

    Warmly,
    Mihaela

I am having a similar issue as eeblanc and a previous user.
On first load the images don’t display in the order I set the in the grid, but if I re-size the browser window then the images re-arrange themselves according to the grid set, and they stay in the correct order even when I maximise the browser window again.
I have taken made the following screenshots for you: Custom grid on front website; before re-sizing browser window, and after re-sizing browser window. And a screenshot of how I have it set up at the backend.
It’s like the image sizes are not quite correct at first, but then when I re-size the browser window, doesn’t matter whether it’s to smaller or larger or whether I size it back to the size it first was, the images stay in the correct order after that.
The images will also re-arrange themselves in the correct order if I open dev tools, like inspect element.

    Hello @signetsites,

I apologize for the delayed response – I only just saw your reply.
Can you please send the screenshots so I can take a look? You can either use this: https://gyazo.com/
Or dropbox to put links to them here.

Also please send your gallery’s url so I can investigate this behavior better.

    Thank you,
    Mihaela

    Hi Mihaela,

Thank you for replying. here is the link: https://www.photographertasmania.com.au/gallery/
Strangely only this page is doing it. I have created a fresh page, rebuilt the gallery from scratch, dumped browser and plugin caches, changed the responsive behaviour of the gallery, split the gallery into parts and nothing has helped.
    I hope you can!
