• I have created a custom menu in 2010. It is working just as I wanted, except besides giving me a menu in the NavBar, it is also putting the links at the top of the page, all run together.

    Take a look at https://75.98.173.245

I can’t figure out what is causing this.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Sherry

  • Looks like you do not have css for the top menu

Can you clarify? Do I need css to get rid of the top menu? I had to add css to get the custom menu, and I only wanted a menu on the navbar. However, on my Menus page, it says I can use two custom menus. I am only selecting one of them, and have tried both. I get better results in the navbar using Header Menu rhan Primary Navigation, but they both show the text menu at the top.

    Thanks for responding, Sherry

You mean you do not want that menu if so it should be in header.php file did you add any code as a twenty ten theme does not have that menu. you can replace twenty ten header.php file from a fresh download

That’s right, I don’t want the menu at the very top of the page. I only want the one right under the header.

I added code to the function.php file in order to use the custom menu. I’ll check and see if I also changed the header.php file.

Thank you. If I continue to have problems, I’ll post again in this thread, and will not close it yet.

I removed the code I put in the header.php file, and everything is as it should be. Thank you so much, govpatel

    You are welcome
