• Hello,

Recently I’ve stepped up in my company to work on making a website. I really like the Intergalactic theme from WordPress.com, but found WordPress.com itself too restrictive.

I got WordPress up and running, and got the theme installed, but I’m having trouble with getting the header image to show properly. After removing the text (the custom image will be the title), I uploaded and cropped the image. However, it’s showing up “greyed out” and cut off.

While I can’t show you the site because it’s A: for a product not released, and B: it’s hosted locally, I did a couple screenshots using a free picture of a cat (again, can’t show off the company) to show the problem.

    Cropping the image.

How it looks on the site.

I do have a css editor plugin, and a very poor understanding of the code. Any help or pointing me to documents is much appreciated. I’ve looked at the Custom Image Header tips and haven’t had any luck with them.

    Thank you.
