Custom Home Page

    Hello.

    I’ve a wordpress blog. And now I need to add html block under the first post only on home page. I thought that I can create a custom php file for home page and there describe needed html block. But then my posts are not displayed on this custom home page.

    Can somebody help me with my little issue?
