Custom Home Page, not static

Hi,

Tried finding information about this, but could only come up with info on making a static home page.

I would like to have a custom home page when people visit the site with an option to visit one of two sites. The problem I’m having is that when I try doing it with a static page, it keeps all the theme layout (sidebar, header, footer, etc) I’d like to have a basic blank page with two links.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
