Custom Homepage Hides the Blog Index! Would love your help…

Hi all,
I have a custom homepage (using one of my pages).
eg. myblogname.com (actually is page called “Home”)But I would also like users to view the index page of my blog like a normal front page
eg. myblogname.com/blog/ (has all my posts like a normal blog index)Here’s what I’ve done so far:
- Changed front page in settings to point to a Page
- Replicated the index.php in my theme folder, and I called it blog.php & added the template name to the top
- Created a new page called “Blog”, using the blog.php template
But going to myblogname.com/blog doesn’t bring up the posts!
I’ve already asked in the IRC channel (hopeless) and checked the following forum posts:
