I’m trying to custom an input type date, because I need a minimum and maximum date range and it’s not possible to do it with simple date input.

I have put the input in the custom html, but on the page I can’t see it. Is it because I have a free version of the plugin?

    How can I solve this?

    Hi there,

If you add the HTML codes for an input field directly in the custom HTML field of the Form then it won’t work.

There is a date field in FluentForms that you can use to collect date input but if you want to set a minimum and maximum date range in the date input field then you will need the Pro version of the plugin.

    Thank you!

Thank you for your answer. So, what is the custom html for? And why specify the {dynamic.nameofinput} if input don’t work inserted that field?

    Hi there,

Custom HTML is mainly used to any add text within the form with custom formatting. Using the shortcode – {dynamic.nameofinput} you can show the value of an input field dynamically in the custom HTML field.

    Thank you!
