I noticed a custom HTML widget was appearing on every page. I have played about with this (and cleared caches etc.) and I can reproduce. Whatever visibility options I set for a HTML widget, they do not apply and the widget is shown on every page. All other widgets I use (quite a few types) appear to be working fine.

Is this a known issue? Do I need to log this as a bug or somewhere and what more information would be useful to verify? Thanks in advance!

    Hello @retrojimmy,

Apologies for the huge delay in addressing your request.

Could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look? If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.

I’m having the same problem as retrojimmy where it won’t save the visibility settings. This is causing problems as I have one widget I don’t want to appear on the front page. The settings simply won’t stick after I hit save. Using latest version of Jetpack, WP, and PHP 8.1. Did you ever come out with a fix or figure out why this is happening?

Any idea when someone is going to address this topic?

    Hi @tneveu,

Please start your own thread and share your website’s URL there. It’s also good to test using a default theme such as Twenty Twenty-Four before posting, to confirm it’s not coming from your current theme.

    Best,
