Custom Icon does not gray out (but lighter in color)

    Hello Chasil,

    I first want to thank you for this super plugin. Do keep up the good work as I have not found a better plugin for the purpose.

    I am building a restaurant/food review website for a customer and trying to incorporate your plugin in the the template. I have created custom icons in png format and the plugin reads it fine. My only issue right now is that the icons that needs to be grayed out (when it isn’t a perfect score) are actually lighter in color than the normal color icon. This is with partially grayed icons and grayed icons. When the score is 0, the correctly grayed out icons appear.

    I will be troubleshooting it further later today but I wanted to get your insights first.

    Hi ypark,

    hope you are fine. Do you have any news on this issue? Are there sites online I can have a look at? This possibly could help.

    The plugin itself creates an image with the maximum amount of stars “outgrayed”. Then it takes the positive amount and paints it over the other ones. The only issue I could imagine is that the source images are not fine for the PHP functions (standard) I had to use. If so you could try to save the images in different quality settings to test with them (32bit, 16bit …).

    Thanks for the reply. This issue was resolved by me actually re-doing the png file. I believe the alignment was off, which threw off the overlaying of the actual image on top of the “outgrayed” image.
