    Hi,

I have selected and uploaded custom icons but only the plugin ‘default’ icons show. If I select one of the other styles (ie Flat) those appear just fine. What might be the reason the custom icons won’t show?

    Thanks

Ok, could you please clear cache? By that, I mean…

    – The browser cache, see https://www.solutionbay.com/solutions/dont-know-how-to-clear-the-cache-1
    – Please also check if you have a cache plugin installed. If so, please disable it temporarily, and check if it’s ok now

Hi socialdude, thanks for the quick response.

There isn’t any caching plugins installed since it is a staging site. I have cleared my browser cache multiple times and even tried browsers that have never been on this page…no luck.

What did you see on your end? The custom icons (images) I uploaded have an off-white background with purple social icon color. All I see are the plugin’s default icon set.

    Thanks

Yes, I also only see the standard icons, no custom ones.

Do you get any error message when uploading the icons?

Do you have any security plugins installed which may stop the icons from uploading?

No error messages. They appear to upload just fine. No security plugins installed either.

Ok, maybe the GD library function (php-gd) is not installed. Please ask your server team or hosting company to install it.

Please make sure that the following functions are working in the GD library: getimagesize, imagecreatefrompng, imagecreatefromgif, imagecreatefromjpeg, and imagecreatefromjpeg.

Also you can try the following to make the GD library working: Find php.ini file on server and look for the line “;extension=php_gd2.dll”. Remove the semicolon, and then restart the server.

Im having the same problem, did you find a solution ?

Yes, we found the bug. We’ll upload a new version with the fix tomorrow or the day after.
