Custom Icons Possible for Sites that are un-established services?

Is there any way to utilize custom icons for this widget for websites that aren’t among your list of Services? See this site’s (https://cutwatersf.com/) WIDGET titled FOLLOWING on right. It clearly has many tumblr sites, but also non-tumblr ones with their unique icons. I really like this grid approach. Is your Subscribe / Connect / Follow Widget capable of doing this? Or can you recommend a different plugin to accomplish this?
