Custom images/links on front page for featured pages

It seems like the page isn’t accessible anymore. It redirects me to another page.

I tried that and it just gave me an empty website. Can you help me with specific instructions on how to change the 3 featured pages with custom images and custom link?

More specific info:

I’m pasting this into my child theme functions.php

fp_random_images('placeholder', 'nature' , false );

And I just get a blank page after that. Cannot access my website afterwards.
