    Hi there,

I am developing a website and since the products are very customizable, I am looking for a solution of adding the input text and price fields above or below the price table in the CART page.
it should look like this: https://prnt.sc/oc6dj6

The text should be then transferred to the checkout page and final order form. The price should add or deduct from the total amount.

    How can I achieve this?

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Do the fields have to be on the cart page? If not, see:

It will allow you to put priced custom fields on product pages. There’s also Advanced Custom Fields, WooCommerce Product Fields and several premium offerings. The generic term for these is “add-ons”. So far as I know, they all operate on product pages, and user input is carried through to cart, checkout, emails and order.

    Hi,

Thanks for the input. Yes, the fields should be in the CART page so customers could enter the text and the price themselves. Price then should be added or deducted from the totals.

Is it even possible? Having the addon on the product page with random text input and with a predefined price, yes, but it is not the scope of the project, unfortunately.

    Hi @laikinas,

As @lorro already mentioned, you can have add-ons on the product pages, not on the Cart page.

If you absolutely must have this on the cart page, you’ll want to speak to a developer about the possibilities and have them build something for you. If you don’t have a go-to developer, we highly recommend contacting one of the services on our customizations page: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.
