Hi there just purchased the plugin.

Issue with custom layout, it just breaks as soon as I make any change.

I have followed the instructions referring to changing the width to auto and so on. Results are not any better.

The site I am using is an intranet site so I can not give access to the page but you could team view in to see the issues.

Please advise if there is any thing I can do off the bat.

    Steve

  • Hello steveathermans,

Could you please show us, using a screenshot, what’s happening when the plugin breaks? Do you get an error message? Do you get a blank screen?
Also, what changes cause this plugin to break?

    Best regards,

    Hi,

So I have had some time to look this over now.

Yes the simplest layout just breaks and doesn’t show expected results.

Here is the custom layout I created…

    Here is the results…

Here are the settings in the custom tab setup as suggested…

Also would it be possible for me to make my own layout with tags or slugs and style it with css on my own? Basically use short code to get the elements in the page and build it from scratch with css.

    Thanks

    Steve

    Hello steveathermans,

As you must have noticed in the screenshot, the layout is in the same way and same position as you have set it up on the backend. However, the Theme that you are using might be applying some CSS that is conflicting with the CSS on the product page. You could probably fix this by using some Custom CSS.

You do have the option to build your own Product page and provide your own custom CSS, however, you cannot really design the layout for the catalogue. But again you could use CSS to make some changes to customize it.You can take a look at the different Product page styles that we offer, like Tabbed Product Page, Custom Product page and the Default product page design in the Premium Section under the Options Tab in the plugin Dashboard.

    Best regards,
