Hello people! I opened my wordpress blog after a week (neither WordPress nor Foogallery needed to be updated in that time, not even another plugin installed), published a new post and inserted two new images with custom links in Foogallery galleries days and all links custom have disappeared. Tumbnails now only open their original pages (which lead to the featured image only). I’ve cleared the entire cache on the site, but that didn’t help. Any idea? Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @marciarosi

I have tested this on the gallery on your site’s (https://ncursos.online/) homepage and made a similar observation where the image opens in a new tab when clicked. This is happening because you have not added the custom URL on the “Custom URL” attribute section of the image and you have also set the “Custom Target” to _blank as shown in the image below: https://prnt.sc/26f4ent

Kindly note that FooGallery does not have any functionality or ability that can remove custom links that have been added. Once you have added the custom URL link and set the “Custom Target” to “Same tab”, you’ll achieve the desired outcome when the images are clicked.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis

Thank you so much for coming back, @elviiso!
However, I believe I expressed myself wrongly.
Custom links never “disappeared” (sorry to put it that way). They are still there but have lost their functionality. I tested it as you suggested changing it from “Custom Target” to “Same tab” (I even added a new image and left it as “default” too) and tumbnails keep opening in new pages with the jpg only without taking to the landing page. It looks like the plugin just lost this functionality… Could this happen? Any other suggestions?
Remembering that last week everything was working normally. All tumbs opening each on their pages/links correctly.

I found the problem… I checked it in “Gallery Settings” / Thumbnail Link / “Custom URL”.
But how this had been changed if only I manage the site is a question. But OK! The problems are over.
    Thank you!
    Marcia
