• I have a client who wanted the default navigation removed from their WordPress website. Instead, they wanted a menu in the sidebar. I have used the “custom menu” widget to put the menu in the sidebar. Fine. Works.

However, the custom menu widget always displays the parent and children menu items, the latter indented for effect. The client wants the children menu items to display only when user hovers over parent menu item. I know enough about CSS to know that this has to do with display:blocks and display:none. However, after three hours of searching the WP code and code of the theme that client purchased, I have not been able to identify where to modify the code so the Custom Menu widget displays menu items differently.

Wondering if anyone has an idea.
