I need help fixing a menu error. I have a couple custom menus on my website where, before switching to this theme, functioned how I wanted them to.

I have two tabs that I’m trying to fix: forum and resources.

Originally the actual forum and resources pages weren’t clickable and would only make the drop down menus appear but since switching to this theme, those links are now clickable and i don’t want them to be.

I hope that makes sense.

Hello @jewnbug,

You can try to use number sign (#) instead of the links for those menu items in order to make them linkless.

Okay, what is the type of those menu items, are they Custom Links?

I created them through appearance > menu if that’s what you mean. It goes:

Forum > answer archive > ask a question
and I just need the Forum part to not be clickable. It used to work fine until I changed themes

There are four types of menu items, Pages, Posts, Custom Links, and Categories. Please make sure that your Forum and Resources menu items are created as Custom Links and their links are just # (number sign character).

Hello, I’ve just tried to add such linkless parent menu item on my local Ignis install and it worked well. So it looks like your issue requires close inspection, you can hire someone for this kind of service. You can also try to deactivate plugins and see if it helps.
