Custom menu link slug

Hello!
I am using a custom link in my menu, and it gets translated correctly, but the slug added to the link’s url is of the ?lang=xx format, although Ceceppa is set to use pre-path mode, and all other links on the site are rendered correctly.
Is there a bit of code I could edit in one of the plugin’s files before it gets fixed upstream?
