• Hi,

I’ve got a problem with adding pages to custom menus. The sort order of the page selection dialog (aka “show all”) does not reflect the sort order of the pages. The pages are not nested correctly in the selection dialog, but they are correctly nested when displayed in the pages section.

This is a screenshot that shows the problem: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/471561/custom_menu_wrong_sorting.png

Take for example the page “Sozialpsychologie”. In the correct page ordering this page has child pages like “Staff”, “Teaching”, “Research”…, but they are not shown correctly in the dialog.

It worked when I started building the website, but now after adding several more and identically named pages (we have several departments that all have a page named “Staff”), the pages are not displayed as nested pages anymore.

There are also several plugins installed, but deactivating them did not help.

What am I doing wrong? Is it a bug/issue with WordPress? Can the nested page order be rebuild somehow? Otherwise this makes adding pages to custom menus a gruelling task.

    Thanks for any hints.
