    Dear wordpress experts,

    Since I’ve started my page : https://www.crownjewelz.nl I’ve ran into a problem.
The theme that I use is a Responsive Thema and has a menu set up by it self.
In the standard menu and Theme I designed my own HOME page and that is just fine for me.

The problem is that I created a new custom menu which won’t show the standard HOME page designed by responsive and adjusted by me.

How can I solve this since I can’t set the HOME button to my custom menu and I really need it for my website.. as I can’t set this standard home page by myself (if that’s even possible)

    Thanks

P.S. (website is in a begin stage)

  • You can always set a Home menu item in your custom menu: just create a custom menu item by using custom links. Here, you can set the link (your website’s url) and the label.

    Thank you LittllebigThing,

But unfortunately that wasn’t the answer i was looking for.
As you Can see on the website it has à default home menu created by my theme. This theme is also integreted in my default menu.

The problem is that I want to create a new menu, when I create this new menu my default home page Will be lost on the page.. (It seems that the new topmenu replaces the default plus the created home menu (which I want to maintain)

Does anyone has a solution ?

    Thanks

You could ask on the developers’ forums here:

I don’t understand what you mean by

the new top menu replaces the default plus the created home menu

    .

If you create a new menu, you can add a new menu link “home”. That way, your new menu should contain a Home menu link. A new menu replaces all default menu items, that is correct and that is the purpose of a custem menu.

I have also used the Responsive theme, that’s why I thought I could help…
