Custom Menu Widget Empty in Archives

  • Created Custom Menu as normal. Added Custom Menu Widget to sidear as normal. Works fine on Pages, single Posts.

    However, when you go to any category, date or tag archive page, the widget’s heading/title shows, but there is no Menu beneath it. Recent Posts and Comments work fine, other widgets fine, but no Custom Menu widget will show the menu on archive pages. Have tried with Cyusomt Menu widget, also using wp_menu and wp_get_archives in a PHP Widget. Title shows, but no content, only on archives.

    Have you resolved your issue?

    Since looking at your site, I can’t find this problems of yours.

    At any rate, if you want to debug this problem, please try to switch to WordPress default theme (i.e. Twenty Sixteen) to see if the problem still occurs.

    If it doesn’t, it means there has to be something from your theme’s code that causing the issue.
