• On my site ashleywillis.net, under my header is a custom menu, I’ve configured the menu and buttons and links work as when you hover over that area you can see the links being displayed at the bottom of the page and when you click something it navigates you to that page, but why is everything invisable.

I cant see any option to make the menu a different colour ?

Am I missing something simple here because I cant figure it out for the life of me ?

Where? I can’t see it at all in your page’s markup.

Exactly, because its white on white ??

You can only tell when your pointer is hovering over it by watching the bottom left hand side of the web page, you’ll see it show the link

But thats my point, why is the menu white on white ? How the hell do you change this lol – grrrhhhhhhh !!!!

Via your theme’s CSS. Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of work.

Right, I have been going through this code to try and determin which part is the colour for the custom menu, but I cant seem to locate it ?

Can anyone else see what would change the colour of the custom menu from white to something else ?

    Apologies WP.org, site address https://www.ashleywillis.net

If someone could have a look and see if they can advise me on how I go about changing the custom menu.

Off the bat, let me warn you I don’t have input to your particular issue. I’m new to all this myself.

I’m posting because I visited your website and was scrolling thru the comments. Holy cow! Have you been visited by a horde of comment-bots or something?

Yeah, I get attacked by them all the time lol, what are they and why do people write them ?

Anyway, just to update this, have managed to sort this issue myself now, menu’s are no visable and working, but I have one last question before this is finally put to bed.

Why do my menu’s not show under older versions of IE ?
