Custom Meta Fields appear blank

  • Hi there,
    Thank you for a very useful plugin. It does everything I have needed up to this point. I am having a problem now however calling in a custom meta field that I have created.

    I have a plugin called Advanced Shipping Methods, and have a meta field that I can see exists by using a post meta inspector. The meta field is called ‘shippingcsv’ However, when I click on the add field button in the set fields to export section, this meta field does not appear in the drop down list. When I write the name manually, the field appears blank when I export to the .csv.

    Do I need to add something to the functions file of my theme to make this meta field be able to be exported?

    The plugin pulls the fields from existing orders.
    Do you have any order which already uses this field ?
    If you just added new field – could you create fake order?
