It includes CUSTOMIZE THUMBNAIL PREVIEW CROP

@lisajwells. Yes, I tried that. I did create new thumbnails that way, but it did not actually change the thumbnails in the gallery. I am wondering if there is an option in the individual galleries that overrides those thumbnails, which I might have selected. Even though I have created new thumbnails the galleries are still default cropping to the middle of the image.

@larajdesigns09 – The thumbnails used by a display are those that were in effect when the display was inserted via the IGW (“green button”) in the TinyMCE editor’s visual tab.

If you want to change the size of those thumbnails you will need to specifically over-ride them in the specific display; or, you can remove the existing display and re-insert it after you have re-sized the images under Gallery > Manage Galleries.

I would recommend the latter if you are also modifying the default cropping of the thumbnail as well since this does not transfer into the displays if they were inserted before you change the cropping.

    Thanks!

PS: Thanks @lisajwells for your assistance!

I decided to do the thumbnails a different way and just changed the default size for all thumbnails so that the create new thumbnail option would work. Thanks for your help.
