• I need to have the other pages in my blog not look the same as the page that has my blog roll on it. I want the other pages to be mere content pages, with maybe some links. I have been trying to custom make a page and am not sure how really since I am kind of new. Can someone break it down for me a little bit and maybe tell me a simple way to do it. I would like to use a page from another template to create the rest of the pages in my blog. Thanks for your help and Merry Christmas!

are you trying to create a static front page? If yes, see this codex guide: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page

you can create a page template and use that(not the default) when you set up your pages. Provide some more details of what you’re trying to do – I’m not sure what you mean by ‘blogroll’. If you mean the pages that show your blog posts, those can be customized as well. When I think of blogroll, I think of links to other sites.

i just want a page that has my header, the ability to put content, maybe image capability and ability to put links. My blog page has two columns of which i want to remain that way, but i want to use a different page for the other pages

Sorry I didn’t get back sooner. There are many tutorials out there. I just Googled create page templates in WordPress If that’s beyond your ability, email me at kevin[at]northshorewebdesign[dot]net and I’ll try to walk you through it.
